Job summary

The Kings Head in Upton St Leonards is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the team and help ensure guests have a great experience from the moment they walk through the door. You’ll be part of the management team, leading by example and driving high standards across service, food and drink.

Lead by example, develop your team, stay calm under pressure, and take ownership during shifts while building strong relationships with guests and local customers.

Qualifications

• You don't need to have done exactly the same job before. What matters is that you're a natural leader who loves hospitality, knows how to bring people together and isn't afraid to get stuck in.
• You'll ideally have experience in a busy pub, restaurant or hospitality environment and be ready to take the next step into a management role.
• Leads by example and brings energy to every shift.
• Cares about great service and attention to detail.
• Enjoys developing and motivating people.
• Is commercially minded and understands what makes a pub successful.
• Can stay calm and organised when things get busy.
• Wants to build a career in hospitality.
