Job summary

Greene King is seeking an Assistant Manager for a busy pub in Bath. You will support the General Manager, lead the team to deliver memorable customer experiences, and model brand standards while ensuring safety and operational excellence.

Expect to develop staff, uphold high standards, and work across shifts in a bustling hospitality environment; a Personal Licence eligibility may be required with company support.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality management.
• Strong leadership and people skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• English proficiency to perform the role safely.
• Eligible to hold a Personal Licence (with support to obtain).

What you'll bring...

• You’ll be passionate about delivering amazing experiences for customers.
• You’ll be great with people, and as a result, have great communication and leadership skills making sure you get the best out of people.
• An ability to think on your feet and adapt to whatever challenges arise during a busy shift.
• A keen eye for every small detail and a desire to uphold high standards in all that you do.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
• As this role may involve covering the business in the General Manager’s absence, you’ll need to be eligible to hold a Personal Licence. You don’t need to have one when you apply. If you’re successful, Greene King will support you through the process of obtaining your licence.
