Assistant Manager – Full Time

We are looking to recruit a new Assistant Manager for our new shop opening in Banbury, Oxfordshire (postcode: OX16 1LX). We offer a permanent full-time position working a variety of shifts 5 days from 7 each week, usually including at least one weekend shift.

Please note that for full-time positions, we generally require you to be fully flexible in your availability throughout the week, including weekends.

Pay & benefits:

The salary for this position is between £30,240.00 - £33,948.94 per annum on a 43-hour contract.

As an assistant manager, you will:

• Work closely with the shop manager to run an efficient shop and provide excellent customer service
• Develop your team of retail assistants through coaching, mentoring, and feedback
• Be responsible for the shop in the absence of the shop manager, ensuring customer care, timely deliveries, and routine shop maintenance for safety and cleanliness
• Motivate and guide your team to control operational costs such as shrinkage, waste, and payroll
• Support the shop manager with recruitment and onboarding of new staff
