Kenneth Brian Associates are partnering with a growing business in Camberley to recruit an experienced Assistant Management Accountant into their finance team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of a broad range of accounting duties while continuing to develop their skills.

The role requires proactive preparation of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting, and collaboration with auditors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant/Assistant Management Accountant role.
• Progressing towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA qualifications.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficient MS Excel skills.
• High level of accuracy, organisation and problem-solving ability.
• Confident communicator and team player.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, office-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Support balance sheet reconciliations and journal postings.
• Maintain purchase and sales ledgers.
• Assist with budgeting, reporting and analysis.
• Manage bank reconciliations and cashflow monitoring.
• Support year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure internal controls and financial procedures.
• Contribute to improvements in accounting processes and efficiencies.

• Maintain accurate financial records including purchase ledger and sales ledger processing
• Assist with budgeting, reporting and analysis as required
• Manage bank reconciliations and cashflow monitoring
• Support year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures
• Contribute to improvements in accounting processes and efficiencies

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant/Assistant Management Accountant
