Job Description:

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts for JD Outdoor cost centres including variance analysis
  • Review of costs and ensuring correct coding for head office and store variable costs
  • Assist with production of budgets/forecasts
  • Assist with preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with monthly cost centre packs and liaise with cost centre managers as required
  • Assist with monthly recharge process to group companies
  • Assist with daily sales and other reporting requirements
  • Adhere to group reporting deadlines
  • Support ad hoc project work as required by the business

Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed:

  • Part qualified CIMA/ACCA/AAT
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical skills to investigate, understand, and explain variances and overall business performance
  • Ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Assistance and study support available for relevant financial qualifications
  • Retail industry experience desirable
