Job summary

Saga plc seeks an proactive Assistant Management Accountant to join the Holidays FP&A team in Folkestone. You will translate financial data into insights, support forecasting and reporting across the Transport business, and contribute to five-year plans.

The role requires ACCA/CIMA part-qualification and strong analytical skills. Based in Folkestone, the role demands collaboration with MI and operational teams, and involvement in monthly management accounts, variance analysis and cost

Qualifications

Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA with a commercial mindset.
Experience in month-end close and management reporting.
Strong Excel skills and ability to analyse large data sets.
Ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly management accounts and performance reporting for Holidays and FP&A.
Produce month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and depreciation.
Provide forecasting inputs and long-range planning submissions.
Communicate insights and trends to leadership teams to support decision-making.
Support continuous improvements in reporting, planning and processes.
