Job summary

Marks Sattin Ltd in London is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role suits a part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA ambitious to progress and gain exposure to an international finance environment.

You will support month-end reporting, VAT/compliance, and internal controls while aiding operations across several European entities within a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Experience in an accounting/finance role with month-end exposure
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Highly organised with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Experience with Xero is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs
• Support month-end close activities, including journals, accruals and prepayments
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Manage intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities
• Prepare VAT returns and maintain supporting schedules
• Liaise with external accountants and advisers across various jurisdictions
• Support the year-end audit process
• Provide wider finance support, including transactional accounting when required
