Job Overview

Axon Moore is recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant to join a FTSE100 company based in Warrington. The role involves supporting the management accounting team with monthly financial statements, reports, journal reconciliations, and cost centre reviews.

Key Responsibilities

1. Management account preparation
2. Providing financial analysis and support to stakeholders at all levels
3. Assisting in monthly P&L production
4. Preparing board packs, month-end, and weekly reports
5. Cost allocation journals and analysis
6. Managing property-related charges
7. Supporting the annual budgeting process

About You

• Understanding of management and financial accounting
• Part-qualified, working towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
• Experience in SME or large organization environments
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliation, accruals, and prepayments
• Advanced Excel skills
• Data analysis and reporting experience
• Self-motivated with a collaborative approach
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently

Compensation and Benefits
