ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - BAND 4
22.3 hours per week
Base Lochgilphead with the option of hybrid office/home-based working days each week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, creative, and dynamic individual to join Argyll and Bute HSCP in the role of Assistant Management Accountant.
Working closely with the Management Accountant, you will assist with the delivery of a professional management accounting service across various services including Oban, Lorn & the Isles, Mid Argyll, Kintyre & Islay, and Estates. You will support all aspects of financial management such as monthly reporting, costings, analysis, and budget planning, working alongside the Management Accountant and the senior Finance team.
You will collaborate with professionals across different disciplines committed to making a difference, learn how a complex organization functions, add value to key health services, and develop a range of transferable skills.
This post is ideally suited to new or recent graduates holding an HNC, HND, or degree, or candidates with equivalent relevant work experience who are interested in Financial Management within a complex organization. Candidates should demonstrate the following essential attributes:
Training opportunities and support to gain a recognized accountancy qualification are available to successful candidates.
You may occasionally be required to travel between various work locations within the Argyll and Bute Locality to meet operational requirements, so a full driving licence is essential.
Please note: This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland cannot provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
