Michael Page is partnering with a successful manufacturing business seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Client Details

Our client is a rapidly growing manufacturing company based in Southampton, requiring occasional travel to their offices.

Description

As the Assistant Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

1. Recording daily financial transactions such as purchases, sales (including billing), receipts, and payments.
2. Reconciling accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy.
3. Communicating with suppliers and customers to resolve queries and maintain credit control standards.
4. Coordinating with Purchasing on weekly payment runs, purchase orders, and Goods Receipt Not Invoiced (GRNI).
5. Processing expense claims for timely payments.
6. Supporting financial audits and other duties as assigned by the Finance Director.
7. Keeping updated on relevant accounting principles and regulations.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have experience with the above responsibilities or similar roles.
