About Our Client

Our client is a successful manufacturing business that has seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Southampton and do require travel to their offices.

Job Description

As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales (including billing customers), receipts, and payments.
• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Liaise with suppliers and customers directly to manage any queries that arise and maintain an excellent standard of credit control.
• Liaise with Purchasing on weekly payment runs, purchase order management and GRNI.
• Processing expense claims to ensure timely payment.
• Participate in financial audits and provide support as needed.
• Stay informed about relevant accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
• Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Director.
