Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an Interim Assistant Management Accountant based in Greater Manchester, offering a hybrid working pattern.

You will produce monthly accruals and prepayments, support budgeting and forecasting, perform variance analysis and assist with month-end and year-end closing, audits, and cross‑department insights.

The successful candidate will be part-qualified with strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP), keen attention to detail, and available to start at short notice.

Description

• Produce and post monthly accrual and prepayments.
• Support with annual budget process and monthly/quarterly forecast preparation.

• Reconcile accounts and maintain the integrity of financial data.

Profile

A successful Interim Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• Part qualified accountant with strong Management Accounting experience.
• Strong excel skills (including the use of Pivot tables and V-LOOK UPS).
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup.
• Immediately available or able to start their next assignment on a short notice period.

Job Offer
