Our client is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team, where you will take full ownership of producing monthly management accounts and play a key role in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare monthly management accounts, including accruals and prepayments, for two group companies.
  2. Compile financial and non-financial reports to produce the monthly management pack for review.
  3. Develop monthly budgets and forecasts to support business planning.
  4. Report on labour, overhead, and capital expenditure to provide financial insights.
  5. Assist in the preparation of draft accounts.
  6. Manage the quarterly VAT return for the Group.
  7. Gather data for the quarterly standard cost update.
  8. Provide holiday and absence cover for other finance team members when required.
  9. Undertake ad-hoc financial duties as business needs evolve.
