Job description

An award-winning firm with a difference is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant who has real-life accounting experience and is looking for their next move.

Due to continued growth, they need an Assistant Management Accountant with the ambition to become their next Management Accountant.

Experience

  • Applicants must have relevant experience in the role and experience working within a busy office environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of operating a regulated services business is desirable but not essential.

What you will be doing:

  • The main responsibility is to assist the Finance Manager in managing the finance department within a busy solicitor's practice.
  • Identify issues proactively, serve as a point of contact for fee earner queries, and help team members manage their workloads.
  • Assist with the preparation of month-end reports supporting management accounts.
  • This is a high-profile role involving interaction across all levels of the business with both financial and non-financial colleagues.
  • Attention to detail, flexibility, and a can-do attitude are essential.
