Reed in Lincoln is seeking an ambitious Assistant Finance Business Partner to join the growing finance team. You will support month-end, management accounts, and budgeting with commercially focused insights.

This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing environment offering exposure to senior stakeholders and a clear path to Finance Business Partner. The ideal candidate is studying ACCA/CIMA/ACA (or recently qualified), experienced in finance analysis or similar roles, and proficient in Excel with

• Studying towards ACCA, CIMA, or ACA, or recently qualified
• Experience in a finance analyst, assistant management accountant, or assistant finance business partner role
• Comfortable analysing financial data and translating it into meaningful business insights
• Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels
• Proactive, curious, and keen to develop commercial finance skills
• Advanced in Excel and comfortable working with large datasets

Responsibilities

• Supporting month-end reporting and management accounts preparation
• Producing financial analysis and performance reports for operational stakeholders
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities
• Monitoring manufacturing costs, margins, and operational KPIs
• Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance
• Supporting investment appraisals and business cases
• Building strong relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Driving continuous improvement across reporting and finance processes
