Assistant Management Accountant - Civil Engineering Sector

Our client, a growing business near Cirencester with a turnover exceeding 100m, is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team. The company is expanding through natural acquisition and offers a dynamic environment for career growth.

Role Overview

You will work within the Civil Engineering sector, supporting a specific division. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing management accounts
2. Entering data into the ERP system and supporting the implementation of a new ERP system
3. Collaborating with the team to complete month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, fixed asset disposals and additions, depreciation, and other journal entries
4. Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
5. Handling IFRS 16 transactions, including additions, disposals, and postings
6. Assisting in the production of management information for meetings

Candidate Profile

This role is suitable for a recent graduate with a sandwich year or a part-qualified accountant seeking to join a forward-thinking company that offers support, learning opportunities, and career development. Study support is available.

• Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
