Job summary

Park Plaza Westminster is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the Chief Engineer in running the Engineering department and leading the maintenance team in one of London’s iconic hotels.

You will help manage the PPM programme, ensure safety and quality standards, and drive improvements to extend asset life and guest satisfaction. This role is based on-site at Park Plaza Westminster and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Support the Chief Engineer in delivering departmental objectives, budgets, and operational priorities.
• Oversee daily Engineering operations, ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely, effectively, and to agreed standards.
• Assist in the management and delivery of the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme.
• Monitor maintenance schedules, outstanding work orders, and departmental performance, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiencies, reduce downtime, and improve service delivery.
• Ensure all hotel assets are maintained in excellent condition, protecting the long-term value of the property.

Assistant Maintenance Manager - Park Plaza Westminster

Working closely with the Chief Engineer, you will support the day-to-day running of the Engineering department, lead and develop the engineering team, maintain compliance across all areas of the hotel, and drive operational excellence through proactive maintenance and asset management.
