Job summary

Your Advantage Tennis Academy in Northwood, Greater London, is seeking an Assistant LTA Level 2 Tennis Instructor to support high-quality coaching for juniors and adults of all abilities. You will assist in planning and delivering sessions, monitor player progress, and help deliver camps and events in a safe and inclusive environment.

The role offers flexible working arrangements, ongoing mentoring and coach development, and opportunities for progression within the academy.

Qualifications

• LTA Level 2 Tennis Instructor qualification and safeguarding requirements.
• DBS check, First Aid certification, safeguarding training required.
• Experience assisting or delivering tennis coaching sessions and working with children/adult players.

Responsibilities

• Coaching & Programme Delivery: Assist in group and individual sessions for all abilities; support planning progressive training programmes; ensure sessions are safe and aligned with LTA standards; monitor progress and provide feedback.
• Player Development: Encourage participation, confidence, and long-term enjoyment; support talent identification and pathways; build relationships with players and parents.
• Health, Safety & Safeguarding: Maintain a safe coaching environment; follow safeguarding procedures; manage equipment and report concerns.
• Administration & Communication: Assist with session registers/attendance; communicate professionally with parents, players, and colleagues; support marketing and member engagement.
