Job summary

KFM Recuitment in Bridlington is seeking a motivated Key Operative / Line Leader to join our busy food production team. This role focuses on leading a production line to hit daily targets, while maintaining quality and safety standards on site.

The candidate should have solid food manufacturing experience, a hands-on approach, and strong communication skills to lead by example in a pressurized environment. Monday to Friday shifts with progression opportunities may be available.

Key Operative / Line Leader

Location: Bridlington

Shift: Monday to Friday, 1:45pm - 10:00pm

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Key Operative / Line Leader to join our busy food production team in Bridlington.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a food manufacturing environment who is ready to take responsibility for leading a production line or area and ensuring targets, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading and supporting a production line/area to achieve daily production targets.
• Supervising and motivating a small team, ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely.
• Monitoring product quality and ensuring food safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Assisting with line set-up, changeovers, and resolving minor production issues.
• Working closely with supervisors and other departments to ensure the smooth running of production.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is essential.
• Previous Line Leader, Team Leader, or Key Operative experience is desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to lead by example and work well under pressure.
• A positive attitude with a hands‑on approach to work.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 1:45pm - 10:00pm

Pay:

• Starting rate of £13.21 per hour, with the opportunity to earn up to £13.76 per hour for the right candidate, depending on experience and performance.
• An additional £8 shift premium is paid for each full shift worked, making the equivalent rate up to £14.24 per hour when the full shift is completed.
