Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is hiring an Assistant Lifecycle Manager. This role is home-based with meetings at Manchester Wythenshawe. You will support lifecycle planning, condition surveys, cost planning, and contract compliance across Healthcare and Education and Local Government units.

The position requires collaboration, strong reporting in a complex business, and familiarity with lifecycle/cost planning and PFI environments. Proficiency in Microsoft applications is expected.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Work with Lifecycle Manager and teams to ensure lifecycle obligations are met.
• Assist with internal and external data collection.
• Monitor lifecycle spend relative to contract needs.
• Support the delivery and analysis of condition surveys.
• Create and manage lifecycle submissions.
• Provide lifecycle support to Healthcare and LG&E contracts.
• Ensure activities comply with Good Industry Practice.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

ROLE:

Assistant Lifecycle Manager

HOURS:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours

LOCATION:

Home Based role, Mitie Base TSOC - Manchester - Wythenshawe for meetings

Mitie are recruiting for an experienced and driven Assistant Lifecycle Manage to facilitate and support the creation of Lifecycle plans, support the delivery of condition surveys, ensure the delivery of rigorous asset-related cost planning, and enhance contractual compliance across the both the Healthcare and Education and Local Government Business Units.

Role Responsibilities

• Work with the Lifecycle Manager and Mitie FM Teams to ensure contractual compliance in respect of Lifecycle and asset management obligations.
• Assist the Lifecycle Manager with both internal and external data collection.
• Continuously monitor and ensure Lifecycle spend is appropriate to the needs of the individual contract.
• Support the delivery and analysis of condition surveys.
• Creation and management of Lifecycle submissions.
• Provide strategic Lifecycle support to Healthcare and LG&E contracts.
• Ensure Lifecycle related activities comply with applicable Good Industry Practice.
• Deliver effective communications with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

• Comfortable with both commercial and process related activities (essential)
• A proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as on their own
• Comfortable in reporting within a complex, commercial and multi-faceted organisation
• Experience in Lifecycle / cost planning and reviewing contractual obligations within PFI contracts (desired)
• Experience in the Facilities Management & PFI sector (desired)
• An understanding and experience of the Healthcare sector (desired)
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
