WHAT IS INVOLVED?
We are looking for a part time friendly Assistant Duty Manager to manage day to day operation of the library ensuring a high-quality service, that is safe, efficient, and enjoyed by users.
Your role will include supporting the Duty Manager providing the highest standards of customer care and experience. You will act as an advocate for the library service proactively encouraging and supporting customers to enjoy a positive experience.
As a customer facing role, your ability to converse at ease with members of the public will be key. You will be passionate about delivering high standards of customer care.
Chester-le-Street Library Assistant Duty Manager, 20.5hpw, until 6.7.2026
Week 1: Monday 9.45am-5pm; Tuesday 9.45am-6.15pm; Thursday 9.30am-5pm.
Week 2: Monday 9.45am-5pm; Tuesday 9.45am-6.15pm; Thursday 9.30am-1pm; Saturday 9.15am-12.45pm.
