Job summary

London College of Communication, part of University of the Arts London, is seeking an Assistant Librarian on a full-time, permanent basis to shape and advance library services across campus networks.

You will support acquisitions, cataloguing, classification and metadata management, contribute to policy development, ensure service standards, provide training for staff, and plan workloads to meet tight deadlines in a partially shelf-ready environment.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification and relevant professional experience in library services.
• Recognised library qualification or equivalent (e.g., CILIP accreditation).
• Experience in acquisitions, cataloguing, classification and metadata management in higher education.
