About the Role

As the Assistant Housekeeping Manager for the Overnight Team, you will support the Housekeeping Department Manager in overseeing the cleanliness, organisation, and overall functionality of the sites within the Nirvana Collection.

You’ll lead a team to ensure that all our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort, helping to create unforgettable experiences for our guests. This is a practical role which includes carrying out operational tasks.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist in managing overnight housekeeping operations, ensuring timely and efficient cleaning of facilities.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate the overnight team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Conduct regular inspections of public areas to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and supporting and mentoring to encourage the development of individuals.
  • Prepare staff schedules and allocate resources to optimise productivity.
  • Assist in managing budgets and controlling costs without compromising service quality.
  • Handle guest enquiries and complaints related to housekeeping with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Complete cleaning tasks to a high standard, inspiring the team through actions and role modelling.
