Job summary

Travelodge Bristol Abbeywood is seeking an Assistant Hotel Manager to lead and develop hotel teams, ensuring excellent guest experiences. You will recruit, coach, and monitor staff performance, while upholding brand standards in food & beverage where applicable.

The role is full-time, with incentives including an annual bonus and staff discounts. You will work in a fast-paced environment, driving KPIs and ensuring smooth operation across the hotel.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a service-led customer-facing environment.
• Experience in food & beverage is advantageous for Bar Cafe hotels.
• Ability to drive KPI and scorecard targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate hotel teams to deliver outstanding customer experience.
• Create personal development plans for team members' career growth.
• Recruit and induct new team members with welcoming onboarding.
• Oversee cleanliness, safety and brand-standard food presentation where applicable.
• Manage rota planning, banking and health & safety compliance.

What’s it all about?

As an AssistantHotel Manager at Travelodge Bristol Abbeywood, on a Full Time basis, you would be responsible for leading, coaching and motivating the hotel teams.

Your role would also include:

• Working with team members to create personal development plans for their career growth
• Recruiting motivated team members and making sure they have a warm and welcoming induction
• Ensuring food is prepared and presented to brand standard (if working in a Bar Cafe hotel)
• Maximising food and beverage sales by cross and upselling (if working in a Bar Cafe hotel)
• Reviewing customer feedback to produce targeted action plans for improvement as required
• Making sure rooms and public areas are cleaned using company best practice
• Reporting and overseeing any repairs or maintenance needed
• Additional responsibilities include rota management, banking and health & safety
• Driving awareness and engagement for our Team Members to earn more through our incentive schemes
