Job summary

Travelodge Manchester Salford Quays is seeking an Assistant Hotel Manager to lead, coach and motivate hotel teams, delivering an outstanding customer experience at all times. The role is offered on a Full Time or Part Time basis.

You will develop personal development plans, recruit and induct staff, ensure brand standards (including Bar Café if applicable) and drive food & beverage upselling while maintaining brand integrity and safety.

Qualifications

• You have led a team in a service-led, customer-facing environment.
• Food & beverage experience is advantageous for Bar Café hotels.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel setting with KPI-driven goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate hotel teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Create personal development plans and recruit and induct new team members.
• Ensure brand standards for food and beverage where applicable, and drive upselling.
• Manage rotas, banking, health & safety, and oversee maintenance and repairs.
• Analyze customer feedback and implement targeted improvement actions.

What’s it all about?

As an AssistantHotel Manager at Travelodge Manchester Salford Quays, on a Full Time or Part Time basis, you would be responsible for leading, coaching and motivating the hotel teams.

Your role would also include:

• Working with team members to create personal development plans for their career growth
• Recruiting motivated team members and making sure they have a warm and welcoming induction
• Ensuring food is prepared and presented to brand standard (if working in a Bar Cafe hotel)
• Maximising food and beverage sales by cross and upselling (if working in a Bar Cafe hotel)
• Reviewing customer feedback to produce targeted action plans for improvement as required
• Making sure rooms and public areas are cleaned using company best practice
• Reporting and overseeing any repairs or maintenance needed
• Additional responsibilities include rota management, banking and health & safety
• driving awareness and engagement for our Team Members to earn more through our incentive schemes
