Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent is essential.
• Proven management experience in a care setting required.

Minimum Requirements

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
• Knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations & Quality Standards
• Experience of supporting children and young people in a care setting
• Experience of working in a residential setting
• Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities and autism
• Ability to support people with additional and complex needs and associated challenging behaviours is essential
• Proven management experience in a care setting
• Flexible approach and good organisation skills are required
• A full UK driving license is required

Summary

Children's Service

Location: Rochdale, Rossendale and Oldham

Hours: 39 hours per week

Shift work plus sleeps and on-call duties (Mainly earlies, lates and weekends)

Salary: £33,450 per annum (Earn up to circa £39,000 per annum)
