Job summary

Lincoln High School is seeking an Assistant HOLA (Mathematics) to lead our Mathematics department as we transition to the new curriculum and senior assessment requirements. This permanent, full-time role starts from the 2027 school year and focuses on delivering Mathematics and statistics up to NCEA Level 3.

We welcome applicants with strength in senior statistics and/or calculus and a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

• NZ teaching registration is required.
• Eligible to work in NZ or hold a valid work visa.
• Experience teaching Mathematics up to NCEA Level 3.
• Strength in senior statistics and/or calculus is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mathematics department and contribute to department targets.
• Support transition to the new curriculum and senior assessment requirements.
• Teach Mathematics up to NCEA Level 3 and contribute to curriculum development.
