Job summary

Keyline, part of the Travis Perkins Group, is recruiting for an Assistant Hire Manager to support the Hire Manager at the branch. You will manage day-to-day customer service, supervise Hire-based colleagues and help keep the branch running smoothly in the Hire Manager's absence.

You will proactively identify sales leads and work to grow the business, while leading and motivating staff in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing role.
• Experience supervising a team is a plus.
• Self-motivated and driven with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day service to customers and supervision of Hire-based colleagues.

Keyline, part of the Travis Perkins Group, is the UK’s number one supplier of civils, heavy building materials and drainage solutions. We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Hire Manager to support our Hire Manager. In this role, you will be based at the Branch, taking responsibility for the day to day service to customers and supervision of Hire based colleagues. You will friendly and approachable with an eye for detail, and able to keep the Branch running smoothly in the absence of the Hire Manager. You will proactively identify sales leads and support the Hire Manager to grow the business, whilst leading and motivating staff in a safe environment.

You will ideally have some experience of working in a tool/hire or similar business- we also need you to have experience of working in a customer facing role. If you have previously supervised a team then that’s really useful too. You must be self motivated, driven, and able to make the most of this fantastic opportunity.
