Job summary

Keyline, part of the Travis Perkins Group, is the UK’s leading supplier of civils, heavy building materials and drainage solutions. We are recruiting for an Assistant Hire Manager based at the Branch to support the Hire Manager and lead a team of Hire colleagues.

The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, identifying sales leads, and keeping the Branch running smoothly in the Hire Manager's absence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a tool/hire or similar business is preferred.
• Customer facing role experience is required.
• Experience supervising a team is useful.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day service to customers and supervise Hire-based colleagues.
• Lead and motivate the Hire team to maintain smooth Branch operations.
• Support the Hire Manager to grow the business by identifying sales leads.
• Based at the Branch, ensure efficient operation in the Hire Manager's absence.

Keyline, part of the Travis Perkins Group, is the UK’s number one supplier of civils, heavy building materials and drainage solutions. We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Hire Manager to support our Hire Manager. In this role, you will be based at the Branch, taking responsibility for the day to day service to customers and supervision of Hire based colleagues. You will be friendly and approachable with an eye for detail, and able to keep the Branch running smoothly in the absence of the Hire Manager. You will proactively identify sales leads and support the Hire Manager to grow the business, whilst leading and motivating staff in a safe environment.

You will ideally have some experience of working in a tool/hire or similar business- we also need you to have experience of working in a customer facing role. If you have previously supervised a team then that’s really useful too. You must be self motivated, driven, and able to make the most of this fantastic opportunity.
