Job summary

Horizon Care and Education have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Headteacher for our NEW MEADOWBROOK SEN SCHOOL based in Long Eaton.

Meadowbrook School will be a brand-new, independent specialist day school providing high-quality education forup to 80 pupils.

Based in Long Eaton, Nottingham, the school will meet the diverse needs of pupils aged 5-19 with Autism.

The Headteacher Sarah is eager to recruit to her new SLT team and is looking forward to meeting suitable candidates for the role. We are specifically looking for an Assistant HT with strong experience in Safeguarding, Behaviour Management and Attitudes to learning.

As an Assistant Headteacher you will aim to achieve the highest possible standards and outcomes for the pupils as a member of the senior management team. Responsible for the implementation of effective policies and procedures that support the high standards of educational. You will work to assist the Head teacher in the day to day running of the school.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING:

• Lead on curriculum, Teaching and Achievement.
