Berwick Academy is seeking an outstanding Assistant Headteacher: Inclusion & SEND to join our senior leadership team at a pivotal moment in our school’s journey. The role focuses on driving inclusive practice and building a state-of-the-art SEND base.

As AHT Inclusion & SEND, you will lead two high-impact priorities: Adaptive Teaching across all classrooms and the development of our flagship SEND provision.

Qualifications

• This role requires leadership in inclusion and SEND within a school context.
• Experience as SENCO or middle leader moving to senior leadership is preferred.
• Proven ability to drive whole-school strategy and improve outcomes for vulnerable learners.

Responsibilities

• Lead Adaptive Teaching across classrooms to ensure students with SEND access a rich mainstream curriculum.
• Develop and lead the new specialist SEND base as a flagship provision.
