Job summary

St Martin’s CE Primary School is seeking an Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion to lead SEND provision, work with SENDCos, and drive inclusive practice across the school.

You will develop staff, oversee ASC provision in our specialist resource settings, and build strong partnerships with families and external agencies as part of the leadership team.

Qualifications

St Martin’s CE Primary School is seeking a dynamic and talented Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion who is passionate about inclusive education and committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children.

We are seeking someone who can:

• Lead and enhance the quality of teaching and learning for SEND pupils.
• Work alongside experienced SENDCos, contributing to the strategic development of SEND provision.
• Support and develop staff to deliver high-quality adaptive teaching that meets the needs of all learners.
• Promote inclusive practice and ensure SEND pupils make strong progress from their starting points.
• Lead and enhance the provision for children with a diagnosis of ASC in our special resource provision.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with external agencies, families and professionals.
• Play a key role as part of the wider leadership team.
