Job summary

Farlingaye High School in Woodbridge seeks an Assistant Headteacher to lead inclusion as part of the Senior Leadership Team. You will drive strategic inclusive practice for pupils with SEND, those eligible for pupil premium, and other vulnerable groups to secure strong academic and personal outcomes.

You will be prepared to work towards the National Professional Qualification for SENCOs and contribute to school-wide development within EAST trusts partnerships.

Farlingaye High School are seeking to appoint a high‑calibre Assistant Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team and lead inclusion at the school.

This is a pivotal role within the school. You will provide clear, strategic leadership for inclusion, ensuring that pupils with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), those eligible for pupil premium, and other vulnerable groups are fully supported to succeed both academically and personally. You will play a central role in ensuring that high-quality teaching, effective support, and robust systems combine to secure strong outcomes for all.

As the successful candidate, you will either hold, or be willing to work towards, a National Professional Qualification for SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators).
