Job summary

All Saints Bedworth is seeking an inspirational Assistant Headteacher to lead EYFS, KS1 and Phonics/Early Reading, contributing to whole-school improvement and safeguarding the Christian ethos.

The post starts with teaching in Reception for 3.5 days per week while shaping strategic development with the Senior Leadership Team; you will coach staff, monitor progress and drive high standards across the early years and Key Stage 1.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of improving outcomes for children.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Passion for early years education and reading.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic development of EYFS, KS1, phonics and early reading.
• Champion a love of reading and ensure all children develop fluent reading skills.
• Support and develop staff through coaching, mentoring and professional development.
• Use assessment and evidence-informed practice to drive improvement and outcomes.
• Ensure an ambitious, inclusive curriculum across early years and KS1.
• Contribute to strategic planning and senior leadership decisions.
