Job summary

The Diamond Learning Partnership Trust is seeking an exceptional Assistant Head Teacher for Key Stage 2 at Gorefield Primary Academy. The role combines strategic leadership with a classroom teaching commitment, driving excellent outcomes for all pupils and modelling outstanding practice across KS2.

We are looking for an experienced leader with a proven track record of improving teaching and learning, who can communicate effectively, lead judgmental initiatives, and collaborate across the Trust

Gorefield Primary Academy is seeking to appoint an exceptional Assistant Head Teacher, responsible for Key Stage 2, who will play a key role in shaping the future of our school and ensuring every child achieves their very best.

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record of improving outcomes and inspiring both pupils and colleagues. We are looking for a leader who is committed to excellence in teaching and learning, has high expectations for all children, and is driven by the belief that every pupil can succeed.

Experience of leadership and raising standards in teaching and learning are essential. Ideally, the successful candidate will be an experienced Key Stage 2 practitioner, with a strong understanding of curriculum development, assessment and securing excellent outcomes for all pupils. Whilst leadership responsibilities form a significant part of the role, there will also be a classroom teaching commitment, and the ability to model outstanding practice within Key Stage 2 will be highly valued.

We are looking for someone to act as a role model for teaching and learning and make a distinctive contribution to the raising of pupil's standards. The candidate must be flexible, organised and operational in the day-to-day management of the school alongside the EYFS and Key Stage 1 Assistant Headteacher, in the absence of the Co-Head Teachers. Effective communication and collaboration with the wider senior leadership team is vital.
