Wingfield Academy is seeking an exceptional and driven Assistant Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our high-achieving academy.

About the role

This critical leadership role offers the exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to the strategic development of an ambitious, forward-thinking school that is committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for all students.

As Assistant Headteacher, you will be responsible for supporting the strategic planning and implementation of policies and practices that drive high achievement, inclusion, and positive behaviour. Working closely with the Headteacher, you will help translate the academy’s vision into clear priorities, ensuring that ambitious targets are met, and that every student receives the best opportunities to succeed.

The specific responsibilities of this role will be agreed at interview and will be aligned to the successful candidate’s interests, expertise and identified school improvement areas.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a middle leader in a secondary school, with a strong track record of leadership, student achievement, and school improvement.
