Trent College and The Elms are thriving independent schools on the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire border. We are seeking an outstanding teacher and leader to join The Elms as Assistant Head (EYFS & Key Stage 1) on a maternity cover basis for up to one year.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across EYFS and KS1, support high standards of teaching, lead colleagues, and collaborate with pupils, parents and the wider school community.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in EYFS and Key Stage 1
• Strong understanding of curriculum development
• Experience in safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
