St Joseph's Catholic School in Wiltshire is seeking an Assistant Head (Culture & Achievement) to shape a high-expectations, inclusive culture and drive ambitious pupil outcomes. You will join the Senior Leadership Team to implement whole-school strategies for engagement, attendance and achievement while upholding the Catholic ethos.

The role requires a proven track record of improving outcomes, strong leadership, and the ability to motivate staff and pupils across a diverse school community.

• Strong understanding of inclusion, SEND, attendance and behaviour strategies.

Responsibilities

• Leading strategies that promote positive attitudes to learning, engagement, belonging and aspiration across the school.
• Driving improvements in pupil achievement, particularly for identified groups of learners, through effective interventions and targeted support.
• Collaborating with pastoral, curriculum and inclusion leaders to remove barriers to learning and secure improved outcomes.
• Promoting high standards of behaviour, attendance and conduct, ensuring pupils reach their full potential.
• Supporting inclusive practices that enable all learners to flourish, including vulnerable and disadvantaged pupils.
• Contributing to whole-school improvement planning, self-evaluation and quality assurance activities.
• Using attendance, behaviour and achievement data to identify priorities and evaluate impact of initiatives.
• Working with families, governors and external agencies to support pupil success and wellbeing.
• Promoting safeguarding culture across the school community.
