Job summary

Ansty Golf Club, part of Get Golfing CIO, seeks an Assistant Greenkeeper to help maintain the course and provide high-quality playing surfaces. The role supports crew operations, turf care, irrigation, and equipment maintenance to ensure excellent playing conditions.

The candidate should have experience in golf course maintenance, strong attention to detail, and good teamwork. Weekend and Bank Holiday availability is required, with opportunities for development and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in golf course maintenance or similar field.
• Knowledge of turf maintenance and environmentally friendly practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Weekend and Bank Holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the golf course by mowing, watering, and planting trees and shrubs.
• Treat and control weeds, pests, and diseases on the golf course using environmentally friendly methods.
• Renovate and maintain bunkers, hazards, and water features.
• Repair any damages caused by golfers or animals.
• Respond to golfer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist with drainage problems and apply irrigation as needed.
• Cut new holes on greens and ensure they are in good condition.
• Operate and maintain machinery and tools.
