Role Description The Assistant Greenkeeper is a full-time, on-site role based in Aberdeen, responsible for supporting the maintenance and presentation of the golf course. Day-to-day duties include mowing greens, tees, and fairways; raking bunkers; setting up the course for daily play and competitions; and assisting with irrigation, topdressing, and aeration tasks. The role involves safe operation and basic maintenance of turf care machinery and equipment, as well as helping with small landscaping projects, divot repairs, and course improvements. The Assistant Greenkeeper will work closely with the senior leadership and wider greenkeeping team, follow established agronomic and safety practices, and contribute to consistently high standards of course conditioning. Some early morning, weekend, and seasonal work may be required to meet the needs of the club and its events schedule.
