Sale e Pepe Knightsbridge, part of Thesleff Group, seeks an experienced Assistant General Manager to join its leadership team in central London. You will lead front-of-house operations, mentor the team and ensure an exceptional guest experience in a high-end Italian setting.

The role requires hands-on leadership during busy services, strong operational and commercial awareness, and the ability to build relationships with regular and VIP guests.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in premium or high-volume restaurant leadership.
• Ability to lead front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional service.
• Strong people-management and staff development skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the restaurant operation in partnership with the General Manager.
• Lead, motivate and develop front-of-house teams during busy services.
• Maintain exceptional guest hospitality, service standards and presentation.
• Build relationships with regular and VIP guests to enhance loyalty.
• Take ownership of service flow and ensure smooth operations during peak times.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of staff.
• Drive commercial performance while preserving guest experience.
• Coordinate with kitchen and senior leadership to align on targets and standards.
• Assist with rotas, labour management, stock control and administrative duties.
• Foster a positive, accountable, high-performance culture.
