Job summary

Popeyes Louisiana Chicken UK&I is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead our team in a high-volume fast-casual setting. You will drive guest experience, ensure safety and quality standards, and support the GM in delivering top-line results.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will recruit and develop talent, manage costs, and maintain a positive, energetic culture that reflects our brand values. This role offers clear progression through Popeyes University.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant General Manager or Restaurant General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR.
• Experience coaching and leading teams, with honest conversations when needed.
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs.
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems.
• Strong people leadership with ability to develop future leaders.

Responsibilities

• Help run the restaurant and lead the team to deliver outstanding food quality, speed, and guest experience.
• Support the GM in building a winning plan and achieving performance goals.
• Ensure full team compliance with HACCP, health & safety, and employment laws.
• Be a role model, maintaining high standards and inspiring the team.
