Job summary

Sticks'n'Sushi Chelsea in London is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead shifts with energy and vision, upholding elevated hospitality for every guest. You will coach the Fish team, support the General Manager to grow a welcoming community of Guests, and make decisions to keep energy high while maintaining standards.

The role requires a confident, calm leader with a passion for our Danish‑n‑Japanese hospitality and the ability to adapt to a fast‑paced premium restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Track record of confidence and hospitality excellence in previous roles.
• Experience as Assistant General Manager/Deputy Manager in a high-volume, premium branded full-service restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager to ensure elevated hospitality on shift.
• Motivate, coach and inspire the Fish (team) you lead.
• Help grow a strong community of Guests and welcome everyone equally.

What you’ll be doing at Sticks ’n’ Sushi

• Assisting the General Manager to ensure elevated hospitality for each guest in how you lead a shift
• Motivating, coaching and inspiring your Fish (the wonderful team)
• Supporting the General Manager to grow a strong community of Guests, welcoming everyone equally
• Being trusted to make decisions, solve challenges and keep the good energy flowing

What you’ll bring to us

• A track record of confidence and hospitality excellence in previous roles. Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager/Deputy Manager in a high-volume, premium branded full table service restaurant
• An eye for detail, always upholding the highest standards and ensuring every shift is in the very safest pair of hands
• Genuine care for your team: your nurturing approach will make coaching & developing a natural focus, ensuring you have one of the happiest teams in the industry
