Job summary

JKS Restaurants is seeking a talented Assistant General Manager to join a Michelin Bib Gourmand-awarded group with multiple locations in the UK and abroad. You will lead front-of-house operations, drive guest satisfaction, and work closely with the management team to deliver outstanding hospitality.

The ideal candidate will have prior AG​M or Restaurant Manager experience, a hands-on leadership style, and a passion for people development and wine/food knowledge.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager or Restaurant Manager ready to take on more responsibility.
• Warm, welcoming persona with a hands-on approach to work and impeccable attention to detail.
• Proven ability to lead, train and inspire a team.
• Passion for hospitality and a good knowledge of food and beverage.

We’re looking for a talented Assistant General Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Assistant General Manager to play a key role in a dynamic & growing restaurant group with big plans ahead. You will be joining a driven and passionate team. Awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand across three locations, Berenjak is an exciting group of Persian restaurants with four locations in the UK (Mayfair, Soho, Borough Market and Soho Farmhouse) and eight internationally across the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and New York.

The Position

We’re looking for an Assistant General Manager, who is confident, proactive and a roll-your-sleeves-up kind of leader. You will continually commit to the highest standards of service and operations, and working closely with the management team, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the front of house team, managing financials, recruitment and team development, stock management and health and safety.

As Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Welcoming and attending to guests with an exceptional level of care and service, ensuring that they leave with a positive and memorable experience;
• Inspiring, motivating and training waiting staff to deliver the highest levels of service;
