Job summary

QVC Group, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Garment Technologist to support QVC UK from our Chiswick Park site in West London.

You will provide technical and administrative support across garment fit, sample development and product quality activities, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive timely development. • Previous experience in garment technology, technical design or related fashion product development role.
• Understanding of garment construction, fit and sample evaluation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Word and Excel; PLM experience (FLEX PLM) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the Technical team across apparel categories including woven, knitwear, sweaters, tailored product and outerwear.
• Coordinate fit sessions and sample reviews, prepare garments, book models, measure samples and record fit comments.
• Track, log and ship samples; maintain style libraries and update product information in PLM.
• Collaborate with Technical, Buying and supplier teams to manage critical path and timely sample development.
• Contribute to report writing, technical documentation and special projects for quality and fit.

Your Opportunity, Your Team The Assistant Garment Technologist supports QVC UK, and provides technical and administrative support across garment fit, sample development and product quality activities.

Where You'll Work

This role is fully on-site and requires you to be based at Chiswick Park, West London, five days a week.

What You'll Do

• Support the Technical team across multiple apparel categories, including woven, knitwear, sweaters, tailored product and outerwear.
• Coordinate fit sessions and sample reviews, including preparing garments, booking models, measuring samples and recording fit comments accurately.
• Assist with tracking, logging and shipping samples, maintaining style libraries and updating relevant product information within PLM systems.
• Work closely with Technical, Buying and supplier teams to help manage critical path activity and support timely sample development.
• Contribute to report writing, technical documentation and special projects that support product quality, fit consistency and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in garment technology, technical design or a related fashion product development role, with an understanding of garment construction, fit and sample evaluation.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work at pace and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with confidence working cross-functionally with internal teams, suppliers and external partners.
• Solid computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel, with experience using product lifecycle management systems such as FLEX PLM advantageous.
• A proactive, flexible and detail-focused approach, with a genuine interest in quality, fit and delivering a strong customer experience.
