Job summary

Equifind, on behalf of a West End based European leading Real Estate firm, is hiring an Assistant Fund Accountant. The role spells broad exposure to bookkeeping, management accounts, NAVs, investor reports, VAT data and partnership capital accounts within a multi-entity fund structure.

The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or part-qualified and keen to pursue CIMA/ACCA. A fund administration background is preferred; the role is hybrid with 4 days in the office and 1 day remote, with full

Qualifications

• AAT accounting qualification or part-qualified accountant
• Interest in pursuing CIMA or ACCA
• Fund administration background preferred
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-growing environment
• Attention to detail and stakeholder interaction
• Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V-lookup, SumIf)

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping for funds, SPVs, and structure companies
• Prepare management accounts and NAVs
• Produce quarterly investor reports
• Prepare VAT data and VAT returns
• Produce and distribute partnership capital accounts
• Compute key calculations (management fees, carried interest, loan agreements)
• Produce IFRS or UK GAAP financial statements
• Issue draw-down and distribution notices
• Prepare cash flow statements and forecasts
• Respond to investor queries
• Compile and analyse financial information underpinning funds
• Assist with year-end audit engagements
