Job summary

Alter Domus in London is hiring a Fund Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract to service our Real Estate client portfolio. You will work as part of a team to meet client needs and ensure accurate bookkeeping and reporting.

The role involves UK GAAP/IFRS reporting, fund capital calls, distributions, and liaising with banks, lawyers, and tax advisors. The ideal candidate has a finance or accounting background and relevant internships or study towards ACCA/ACA.

Qualifications

• Educated to A-Level or University Degree; finance/accounting preferred.
• Studying for ACCA/ACA or equivalent.
• Able to work in a team and build client relationships; proactive.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bookkeeping and reporting of funds and fund structures.
• Prepare management accounts and financial statements under UK GAAP or IFRS.
• Assist with the annual audit process.
• Process fund capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, and redemptions.
• Act as a point of contact for clients and intermediaries.
• Assist with KYCD files and regulatory compliance.
• Process client payments on various bank platforms.
• Support regulatory and compliance processes for funds.
• Monitor and deliver finance KPIs.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as required.
