Job Description

To assist the FOM in ensuring the smooth operation of all services at the desk, contribute to achieving the department's quantitative and qualitative targets, maximize REVPAR figures, motivate and train staff to the highest standards of guest care, welcome, and quality service.

  • Present a professional, friendly, and efficient impression of the hotel at all times.
  • Ensure that all tasks related to guest comfort, satisfaction, or the impression the guest receives are treated with utmost priority.
  • Maintain good working relationships with colleagues, creating a team that collaborates well across departments.
  • Develop your team to provide hospitable service according to the Standards Training Manual.
  • Anticipate guest needs, act upon and follow up on guest requests, and deliver responsive service that generates compliments.
  • Maintain vigilance regarding potential fraud, theft, and security risks.
  • Understand all systems and programs, e.g., TARS, etc.
  • Ensure effective and efficient communication procedures daily to uphold service standards.
  • Have a good knowledge of the local area, including history, places of interest, and events, and communicate effectively with the lobby team.
  • Support business objectives concerning revenue, costs, and teamwork, while developing personal competencies.
  • Adhere to the company dress code and appearance standards, ensuring team compliance.
  • Provide excellent service to guests and handle guest complaints appropriately.
