We are currently looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to join our team based in Corby.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Main purpose of job

• Partnering with Distribution Centre Managers to ensure the P&L and Balance Sheets for your assigned sites are effectively managed

Key tasks

• Financial management of Site(s) P&L and Balance Sheet
• Production of weekly management accounts for the site(s) by client
• Business Partnering with Site Manager/ Site Operations Manager
• Working with operational teams to enhance the Financial and Operational performance and understanding, using data to drive improved performance
• Working with suppliers to ensure accurate and timely billing
• Production of insightful Client reporting
• Working with the Onboarding teams to ensure the seamless integration of new clients into Bleckmann
• To promote and create a continuous improvement culture through identifying areas for improvement and positively acting on them
• To foster a positive working environment through regular communication with the team, providing feedback; encouraging ideas, developing skills, understanding concerns, and celebrating success
