What You’ll Be Doing

As an Assistant Financial Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the month-end and quarter-end reporting cycle, maintaining accurate accounting records, and liaising with auditors, HMRC, and other key stakeholders. You'll support statutory accounts preparation, VAT submissions, group reconciliations, and everything in between — with mentorship and development opportunities to grow your career.

Expect to:

• Support balance sheet, P&L, and cashflow reporting
• Assist with quarterly VAT returns and liaise with HMRC
• Get involved in external audits and statutory account prep
• Collaborate with the wider Finance team and support ad hoc projects
• Be a vital part of the team ensuring accuracy, integrity, and insight
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• AAT qualified (or equivalent) and hungry to learn more (part qualified considered)
• Experience in finance, ideally in hospitality or shared services (not essential)
• Comfortable working with accounting systems (Sun system experience a plus!)
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and great with deadlines
• Confident communicator who’s happy working cross-functionally
